ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1 years of experience in the supply chain of pharmaceutical companies or multinational companies operating in the GDO
  • Degree in Business and Economics or Management Engineering.
  • English and Italian language
  • Proven ability to interact actively with a large number of stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel) and SAP system.

Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE

Supply Planning Specialist ensures product availability, minimizes write-offs, optimizes inventory, and manages an extensive production network, including the External Supply Network. They also play a key role in the S&BP supply review process.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Management of inter-company production site relationships: You will ensure the appropriate stock levels are maintained through effective relationship management with the inter-company production site.
  • Inventory control and risk mitigation: You will be responsible for monitoring assigned product stock levels and independently implementing measures to minimize the risk of stockouts.
  • Market intelligence gathering: You will proactively collaborate with the Demand Manager to gain insights into current market dynamics.
  • Order fulfillment and supplier oversight: You will conduct periodic checks on expiring orders based on requested and confirmed delivery dates. If necessary, you will initiate communication with suppliers for appropriate verifications.
  • Master data management: You will be responsible for the creation and modification of promotional material codes within the master data flow.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: You will serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders (Finance, Regulatory, Quality, Marketing, and Sales) to ensure the continuous availability of supply chain information.
  • S&BP participation: You will actively contribute to the monthly Sales & Business Planning (SBP) cycle.
