REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
Inventory Management – Thorough knowledge of stock and inventory recordkeeping to include
safe, effective, and efficient handling and storage of stock, material, tools, and supplies. Knowledge
of the use and type of a wide variety of materials, parts, equipment or supplies in a warehouse.
Customer Service — Considerable knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer
service. This includes setting and meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of
customer satisfaction.
Equipment Operation – Knowledge of the proper procedures for operating, inspecting and
maintaining assigned equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
Safety - Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards, safety precautions, and safety regulations
related to the handling and storage of stock, material, tools, and supplies.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Computer Skills – Utilizes a personal computer with word processing, spreadsheet, and related
software to effectively complete a variety of administrative tasks with reasonable speed and
accuracy.

Judgment/Decision Making - Evaluates the best method of research and then exercises appropriate
judgment in establishing priorities and resolving matters. Considers the relative costs and benefits
of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.

Time Management - Plans and organizes daily work routine. Estimates expected time of

REQUIRED ABILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Requires a high school diploma and 2 years of supply, stock, or warehouse experience or an equivalent
combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Requires satisfactory results from a pre-employment medical evaluation.
An acceptable general background check to include a local and state criminal history check.
A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Must successfully complete the required National Incident Management System (NIMS) Incident
Command System Certifications within one year of employment.
The job is considered Essential Personnel and will be required to work during and following natural
disasters and emergency situations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Tasks require the regular and, at times, sustained performance of moderately physically demanding
work
Some combination of climbing and balancing to include climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling,
crouching, and crawling.
May involve the lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials
(20-50 pounds).
SENSORY REQUIREMENTS
Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate sounds and visual cues or signals.
