The Role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you could work across a variety of schools and educational settings, supporting pupils with their learning, development and wellbeing.

  • Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
  • Supporting children with SEND and additional needs.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.
  • Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
  • Assisting with classroom activities and preparation.
  • Supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom where required.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
