MINIMUM POSITION KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Minimum 2-year experience with government and contractor electronic purchasing and receiving systems or similar commercial experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent training & experience.

Responsibilities

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Provide supply requirements on a military installation. This position is in support of the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP) and is located at Ascension Island Auxiliary Airfield (AAAF).

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, requisition, track, receive, inventory, document, store, account for, and issue supplies in support of the AAAF mission.
  • Requisition Non-Mission Capable Supply/Partial Mission Capable Supply (NMCS/PMCS) AF assets as required and for Due-In Fromm Maintenance (DIFM) items utilizing correct Source of Repair (SOR) IAW AFI 23-101, AFMAN 23-122, TO 00-33A-1001, Chap 9, and DAFMAN 13- 204V4 for Radar Airfield Weather Services (RAWS) / Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems (ATCALS) related equipment.
  • Verify existing spares identified on the Forward Supply Point (FSP) (Q-13) report are accounted for and report all discovered inconsistencies.
  • Provide real-time asset visibility, documentation, and reporting through the standard AF–approved supply system (which is currently SBSS).
  • Identify and document low-demand-rate items, document adjusted stock level using AF Form 1996, and validate the adjusted stock level annually.
  • Perform functional checks on critical spare items prior to their installation, when operationally feasible, to ensure adequate operational support for subsystems.
  • Perform and complete floor-to-book and book-to-floor inventory at least annually during the final month (September) of the USG fiscal year.
  • Provide reports as required.
