JOB DESCRIPTION:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Supply Technician to join our team! In this role you will get to support warehouse operations by receiving, handling, and tracking equipment and materials. This role is essential in ensuring that materials are properly received, stored, and dispatched in a way that maintains product quality and inventory accuracy.

WHAT REQUIRED SKILLS YOU’LL BRING:

  • High Scool Degree and 1 year expereience.
  • Experience coordinating and expediting the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between buildings based on Facility Manager priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP data entry.
  • Ability to identify materials by part number or written description.Background in logistics and supply chain operations.

  • Familiarity with GCSS-Army, FEDLOG, and government supply systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

Responsibilities
  • Assist Material Control Coordinators with receiving materials, verifying quantities, and accurately entering data into inventory management systems.
  • Store equipment as directed, ensuring it is safely and securely placed to prevent damage or deterioration.
  • Pick materials and kits from designated storage areas to fulfill order requirements.
  • Package materials and kits for shipment or transfer, ensuring they are protected during transit and labeled accurately with all required information.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and inspect materials for quality and defects.
  • Operate forklifts to move materials and maintain efficiency in the storage and distribution process.
  • Observe and follow all safety programs and practices, ensuring a safe work environment.
