Description
SAIC is seeking a Supply Technician for our customer site in North Charleston, SC. The Supply Technician: Provides expertise and the ability to supervise the LMADIS Materials Management team. Provides material purchase status reports to management. Work with Purchasing Team to execute common buys across programs and Build long term agreements with key suppliers. Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Purchasing to identify and qualify new suppliers. Collaborates with other managers to determine material needs. Working with all Program Managers, Engineers, and Program Logisticians to furnish complete Build of Materials (BOMs) to Purchasing for RFQ and procurement requirements. Resolve program shortages by reviewing and analyzing all back-orders. Periodic calls to vendors to insure promised dates are kept Collecting merchandise from the Shipping and receiving section and safely transporting materials to the receiving area. Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return. Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse. Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the Management. Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled. Supervise all material through computer input. Assisting with training of newly employed workers. Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma and five (5) years of experience Requires excellent time management and prioritizing skills to meet the challenges of unexpected program updates and requirements. Strong communication and conflict resolution skills. Ability to multi-task. Attention to detail and accuracy are critical. CMPRO experience Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a public trust
