Valiant is looking for a Supply Technician to join our team!  In this role you will perform the supply tech duties in the TESS Section of the Training Support Center with responsibility for providing logistical, property management, and storage support for TSC activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Works with minimum supervision from the TESS Manager working under the Training Support System (TSS) program at the National Training Center (NTC). * Receives, stores and stocks materials, supplies, tools, and spares for the TESS Warehouse. * Responsible for TESS Property and individually signed Section Hand Receipts. * Conducts property inventory of all equipment to include individually signed Section Hand Receipts. * Compiles and maintains locations of items in storeroom, warehouse and/or storage facilities. * Counts, sorts or inventories incoming/outgoing items to verify the accuracy of receiving/shipping and invoice documents. * Verifies items for conformance to specifications. * Warehouse or stores articles in bins, shelves or floor locations according to style, size, or type of materials. * Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventories of stock. * Adjusts inventory records to include quantities, description, and unit of issue, location and vendor. * Performs cross-level tasks as required to achieve mission accomplishments. * Ensures safety procedures, standards and policies are followed and quality control standards are met. * Provides customer assistance and advice in a proficient and professional manner. * Ensures adherence to Company Policies, practices and procedures. * Performs duties as the Uniform coordinator. * Provide equipment/training aids to support Rotational Units. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications * 1+ years of specialized experience in the TESS and/or Material Control field and rotational support operations. * Ability to document and maintain accurate status of requisition actions through delivery of time. * Experience must clearly show formal training and/or on-the-job training in the requisitioning, issue, warehousing, control, and documentation of property. * Problem solving, organization, basic math and persistence. * Must have excellent communication skills when interfacing with military and civilian customers or management personnel. * Must be clear, concise and proficient in all verbal and written instructions. * Possess a valid CA driver's license. * Ability to use and interpret Army manual. * Applies sound judgment and practical decision-making in the execution of daily responsibilities. * Demonstrates consistent punctuality and time management, arriving promptly for scheduled shifts, meetings, and deadlines SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  Must have the ability to obtain a Common Access Card to utilize government operating systems.   EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:    High school diploma or equivalent.   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Must be able to lift 45 lbs. unassisted.   Working Conditions: Position: Warehouse/Shop environment, frequently outdoors.  Frequent exposure to dust, desert pollen, extreme heat and cold associated with desert environment and natural conditions existing on Fort Irwin. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions climbing in or on military or commercial equipment. Work Week: Dependent on the Rotational Calendar Work Hours: 0600 – 1430 or 0730-1600 Overtime:  As required Travel Required:  Yes, within Ft.
