What You'll Do You are hardworking with a real passion for creating a quality experience for all our guests. All functions are carried out to maintain a clean, dry, safe, and fun work environment for you and your coworkers. You love building and maintaining sound working relationships with your coworkers! You'll act as an ambassador for the wine bar and deliver authentic, friendly service to compel repeat visits from our guests. Some of your responsibilities include: Greet and welcome wine bar guests. Deliver food to the tables ensuring that it is delivered promptly. Deposit soiled dishes appropriately in the specified area. Empty all trash containers regularly, stock bussing and serving stations. Learn and maintain product knowledge of the food menu. Maintain restaurant cleanliness, including sweeping or mopping floor using the tools provided. Clean and set tables to restaurant standards. Pull dirty glasses from tables while guests are still seated. Stock bussing stations. Clean stations, including sweeping floor using the tools provided. Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks when necessary, such as expediting food to tables. Attend all company and/or restaurant required trainings and meetings. Communicate with other staff and management. We are a team at J9 Wine Bar and you may need to take on responsibilities outside of this job at times, as we all do. Requirements What You Bring Experience in a similar or supportive role is preferred. Food Handler Certification, Alcohol Awareness Certification. Knowledge or ability to learn the restaurant point-of-sale system, ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Hardworking, dedicated, with a real passion for hospitality. Flexible schedule and must be able to work evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
