Location: Wellington or Auckland CBD In this unique role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the branch and ATM networks are always loaded with sufficient cash; ensure the resolution of customer issues, complaints and claims with speed and accuracy; support the network with cash orders; respond to emails and enquiries from key stakeholders including cash service providers; and maintaining the integrity and completeness of financial transactions and records. You will also reduce and mitigate risk and meet compliance requirements and regulation through ensuring audit trails are maintained on all cash transactions; reconciliation of settlement accounts daily, escalating any discrepancies to Manager within 24 hours; and continuously reviewing tasks and processes for robustness and to meet compliance. Mō te tūranga | About the Role Maintain Westpac’s commitment to excellent customer service by ensuring that the branches and ATM network are always loaded with sufficient cash, and that customer issues, complaints and claims are resolved professionally with speed and accuracy. Reduce and mitigate risk and meet compliance requirements by maintaining the integrity, compliance and completeness of cash transactions, adherence to compliance requirements for account reconciliation and discrepancies, advise or escalate risk or exposure as appropriate, and ensure all processes are both effective and efficient. Support the network with cash orders and repats to and from Westpac vaults with our cash services provider. Handle phone enquiries and emails from customers and key stakeholders, including the cash services provider, and proactively make calls to inform customers about claim outcomes. Initiate financial settlements between trading banks and Westpac’s cash services provider and the Reserve Bank. Maintain the integrity and completeness of financial transactions and records.
