Description Support Center Licensed Practical Nurse Location: 100% Remote - Applications are open to candidates residing in the following states: Kentucky, Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina Schedule: 4 10-hour shifts per week from 8am-7pm EST - days will vary; every other weekend ** Must have access to reliable high speed internet service ** If hired, this position requires the employee to travel to one of BCN’s Regional Offices in Kentucky prior to the start date to receive equipment and complete required federal I-9 paperwork as part of the pre-employment process. The Support Center LPN performs telehealth triage functions including but not limited to receiving calls; providing phone support; providing interventions utilizing BCN policies, procedures, and protocols; dispatching on-call nurses as needed. The Support Center LPN completes documentation utilizing the EMR, point of service. This role will work under the guidance of the Support Center RN Supervisor. Requirements Is a graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program. Has at least two (2) years of nursing experience. Community Health/Hospice or long-term care experience preferred. Telehealth experience preferred. Is currently licensed as an LPN through the State Board of Nursing. Has excellent assessment, nursing judgment, and communication skills. Able to cope with heightened family emotional stress, and tolerant of individual lifestyles. Complies with accepted professional standards and principles. Complies with strict adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and protocols. Basic computer skills required. Advanced computer skills preferred. Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision. Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation and has the ability to work with an interdisciplinary team. Team members will be expected to comply with Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN) Employee Health, infectious disease, and vaccination policies.
