SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced conveyancing lawyer to undertake conveyancing legal work to assist fee earners within the Firm. To ensure the successful development of the Firm in line with the business plan. Ideal for a lawyer wishing to keep a hand in the profession or someone looking to move away from their own case load.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The role includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Providing assistance to other fee earners within the office/Firm as required particularly during periods of sick leave or holiday absence
  • To be able to conduct all legal aspects of a conveyancing transaction. This includes checking legal title, raising pre contract enquiries, dealing with enquiries raised by opposing solicitors, reporting to clients on contract and lease and reviewing Managing agents sales packs.
  • To minimise risk in dealing with all work and ensure that all files are managed in accordance with the Firm’s risk and file management procedures
  • To undertake suitable training and to comply with the Firm’s training policy and the competency framework of the SRA
