Your role at St John of God Accord We are seeking to recruit a Support Coordination Team Leader to join our NDIS Support Team on a fixed term contract until April 2028. The role will provide support to teams located in either north western Melbourne or south eastern Melbourne. The Support Coordination Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the NDIS Support Coordination Team, ensuring efficient, effective and flexible delivery of services aligned to the NDIS framework. The Position Plan a range of appropriate approaches and interventions to ensure clients are receiving a high quality, thorough and effective service from Support Coordinators. Plan, coordinate and manage client and staff timetables to ensure support is planned and managed within available resources. Provide the highest level of client support ensuring each person is treated with respect that enhances their personal worth, dignity and rights. Assist in achieving clients, team and service goals and objectives. Continually seek ways to improve SJGA’s standard of service by identifying opportunities for improvements. Actively participate and contribute at team meetings and work in a collaborative manner with colleagues and managers. Act as a professional role model to the specialist services team and specifically support coordination professionals. We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the dynamics of operating within an open and competitive market for a new service. You will bring demonstrated experience and/or strong interest in service and business development, along with the ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and develop clear work directions, policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a portfolio of service recipients, including coordinating supports for individuals with complex needs across multiple disciplines and specialist services. Successful applicants must hold a current Victorian Drivers Licence and NDIS Screening Clearance.
