Responsibilities Carry out software modification and provide maintenance support on Automatic Fare Collection systems and related software Assist and participate in peer design review Prepare and conduct appropriate tests including Unit Tests, System Integration Tests, Generic Workshop Tests, User Acceptance Tests, Type Approval Tests, etc. Prepare relevant design, safety, quality and operational documents Troubleshoot software and hardware problems encountered during trial and implementation Requirements Degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science or a related discipline with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in software development / maintenance; OR Higher Diploma with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience Practical experience in software development, debugging and system maintenance Proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, SQL, and other relevant technologies Solid experience in web development utilizing jQuery, Ajax, and Node.js Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese Applications You are invited to apply online via http://www.mtr.com.hk/mtr_job_en or send in your CV stating the position (with reference number) you are applying for by mail to Human Resource Management Department, MTR Corporation, G.P.O.
