Cognizant’s Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Support Lead with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a Hybrid position requiring 2 to 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Alpharetta, GA & New Jersey, NJ The working arrangements for this role are accurate as of the date of posting. Please note: A few of our roles may require in-person interviews at Cognizant offices or client locations, depending on project or client needs In this role, you will: Customer issue resolution: Act as a point of contact for escalated or complex customer inquiries and complaints that frontline staff cannot resolve. Analyses production issue and support the application maintenance Development work: Determine and prioritize maintenance work, which includes bug fixes, performance improvements, and security updates Performance monitoring: Track team performance, analyze metrics, and implement solutions to improve service levels, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Process improvement: Identify areas for improvement, implement new processes, and create training materials to enhance support services. Coordination and communication: Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth information flow and coordinate efforts to meet strategic objectives. Operational management: Manage work queues, and ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements. What you need to have to be considered: Strong hands-on experience with .NET MVC framework. Proven hands-on experience in building WebAPI Hands-on experience with Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3. Proficiency in SQL Server databases. Experience working with Azure cloud services. These will help you stand out Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of cloud-native application development and serverless architecture. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $65k - $117K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
