The Support Manager will facilitate Community Supports for people with disabilities to live within their community, focusing on choice and self-determination. The Support Manager will manage and coach Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to coordinate person-centered planning activities with the Coordinator of Community Services and ensure compliance with applicable DDA and other regulations. The Support Manager will be a liaison between all stakeholders and Fello regarding services and compliance with the person-centered plan. This position is a member of the Leadership Council and is based on the Mid-Shore. This position is deemed essential during weather emergencies Qualifications The ideal candidate brings experience working with people with disabilities and providing case management and/or planning facilitation. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required; experience with iCM documentation is a plus. They demonstrate the ability to exercise good judgment in sensitive situations, work well under pressure in an ever-changing environment, and are a team player able to respond to changes and/or crisis in a calm and productive manner. Strong oral and written communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage positive communication in difficult situations and the ability to provide candid/constructive feedback are critical for success in this role. This position requires a high school diploma with at least five years' experience working with people with disabilities, with at least two years providing case management and/or planning facilitation. A bachelor's degree and experience in person-centered thinking is a plus. A valid Maryland Driver's License with no egregious violations is required.
