About the role
The Support Officer, Learning and Teaching will provide comprehensive support to university staff engaged in developing and delivering face-to-face and online courses. You will monitor job requests, troubleshoot and provide timely resolution of eLearning support requests and incidents.

You will:

  • support the administrative functions within the Learning Management System, ePortfolio, Video Capture and Streaming Server, Virtual Classrooms and Plagiarism Prevention;
  • undertake a range of operational tasks to assist staff and student use of learning technologies;
  • produce and contribute to the development of instructional resources for staff and students; and
  • undertake introductory training sessions to staff and students in the technical knowledge required to use eLearning technologies.

About you
You will possess proven experience in providing eLearning technology support and eLearning development in a higher education setting, including resolving eLearning-related incidents and support requests promptly.

You will possess demonstrated:

  • experience in supporting and administering a range of eLearning technology software applications;
  • capacity to undertake routine technical tasks within Learning Management Systems;
  • experience in delivering staff training in the use of learning technologies to support sound pedagogical models and practices; and
  • experience in developing comprehensive support resources to assist staff and students.
