In this administrative role (internally referred to as a Technical Simulation Officer), you will help create immersive training environments that prepare students for real-world clinical practice.
This non-teaching role supports academic staff by coordinating clinical simulations, setting up and maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and operating to industry standards. You will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and oversee the logistics of simulation-based training. Your keen attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality learning environments will contribute to the success of our students.
No clinical or simulation experience is required - full training is provided. We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills who thrives in a fast-paced setting.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with students and clients.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, and complete work autonomously.
• Experience or ability to quickly learn preparation of simulated solutions and operation of clinical equipment, following relevant standards and legislation.
• Proficient in the use of computers and relevant software applications.
• During peak periods, shifts may be rostered across seven days, including weekends, to meet operational needs.
