OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Support Project Manager who will assist our client with quarterly report reviews, research, invoicing, and professional documentation. This role requires experience in Medicaid or workforce development, and strong skills in Excel, dashboards, and creating status reports and presentations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and comfortable supporting high-level project activities through clear, organized deliverables.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in project support or coordination
  • Direct experience with Medicaid or workforce development programs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and dashboard formatting
  • Experience developing professional reports and presentations (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to review and analyze written reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with financial documentation or invoicing processes
  • Experience creating or reviewing internal work papers and audit documentation
  • Knowledge of New York State agency operations or public sector contracting

    Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
    Expected hours: 15 per week
    Work Location: Hybrid remote in Albany, NY 1220
Responsibilities
  • Review quarterly reports to identify discrepancies or problematic trends
  • Conduct research and compile internal documentation and work papers
  • Support project invoicing by aligning documentation with deliverables
  • Prepare and maintain clean, professional Excel spreadsheets and dashboards for data tracking and reporting
  • Develop weekly status reports and PowerPoint presentations for internal and external audiences
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client staff to gather and clarify information
  • Organize and maintain documentation for compliance and audit readiness
  • Assist the Project Manager with tracking progress and following up on action items
