QUALITY ASSURANCE SUPPORT AUDITOR

Responsible to: Senior Support Worker
Responsible for: Internal auditing of support files and property folders
Hours: 35 per week
Contract Type: Self-Employed

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience conducting full audit cycles of support case files, with the ability to identify errors and recommend improvements.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills in reviewing documentation.
  • Knowledge of supported housing service delivery and relevant legal frameworks.
  • Familiarity with professional best practices in support delivery, including evidence-based documentation.
  • Ability to meet predefined targets within set timescales.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards across all support files, with accountability shared among auditors, senior support workers, and support workers.

Key Responsibilities Support File Auditing

  • Conduct thorough audits of support case files to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
  • Complete audit reports for each case file reviewed.
  • Maintain and update the audit tracker spreadsheet daily to reflect current caseloads and progress.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly audit targets as set by management.
  • Ensure that one-third of 20% of support files are submitted for external review, in line with RLS directives.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Implement improvements in the auditing process as identified through internal reviews.
  • Collaborate with Senior Support Workers to audit paperwork associated with service users.
  • Facilitate processes to ensure successful external audits and communicate these processes to relevant staff.
  • Conduct internal spot checks on support worker case files
  • Deliver training sessions to support workers to promote continuous improvement in documentation standards.

Pay: £12.44 per hour
