POSITION DESCRIPTION

We seek an enthusiastic Laboratory Aide to join our vibrant Histology team in Macquarie Park. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:

• Reagent Preparation and maintenance of immunohistochemistry instruments
• Unloading instruments
• Loading slides onto instruments
• Maintaining stock levels
• Answering phone calls and emails.
• Other laboratory tasks as required.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for the following:

• Open to work 38 hours a week Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
• A highly motivated, keen to learn individual with strong problem solving skills.
• Good communication skills and excellent phone and email manner
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with good time management skills
• Team player with the ability to work unsupervised
• Knowledge of medical terminology would be preferable.
