As a Support Specialist, you will offer an array of restorative skill building activities and support to rebuild communication proficiency, social & behavioral skills, self help abilities, and management of daily life activities. Responsibilities: Provide direct support to individuals with medical, physical, cognitive, and socioemotional needs in completing daily activities, including personal care, meal prep, cleaning, and leisure Assist with personal care and hygiene as needed, promoting independence and personal growth Administer medications in accordance with MAP regulations and report any significant health, behavioral, or psychiatric concerns Perform routine housekeeping tasks and report all maintenance or safety issues to ensure a clean and safe environment Qualifications: Requires a High School Diploma Experience working with adults with cognitive, behavioral or developmental issues Valid Massachusetts Drivers License Ability to drive program vehicle in Boston and highways. Responsibilities
The Support Specialist will provide direct support to adults with brain injuries in completing daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, cleaning, and leisure engagement. This role also involves administering medications according to regulations and assisting with rebuilding communication, social, behavioral, and self-help skills.
