The Support Supervisor will step into the Supervisor role in their absence and play a key part in maintaining compliance, operational flow, and team performance.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Strong Health & Safety and animal welfare awareness.
Willingness to work overtime and adapt to changing business needs.
Eligible to work in Ireland.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
Poultry Welfare training (training will be provided if not already held).
Previous supervisory or team leader experience in a food processing or production environment.
Assist the Supervisor in managing daily operations within Kill/Evis.
Step up and assume full supervisory responsibility when the Supervisor is absent.
Monitor and maintain compliance with Health & Safety rules, regulations, and PPE requirements.
Ensure adherence to all poultry welfare legislation, procedures, and strict processing timelines.
Support quality checks and maintain attention to detail in line with company and regulatory standards.
Work proactively to ensure the department runs efficiently and to production targets.
Identify and recommend improvements in Health & Safety, Quality, and Production.
Maintain accurate documentation and records as required.
Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and external stakeholders (e.g., transport, vets, auditors).
Act as a responsible role model for colleagues, promoting a “can do” attitude and high performance.
Remain flexible and adaptable to operational demands, including overtime and process changes.
Carry out additional reasonable duties as directed by management.
