EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION TEACHER WHO WE ARE: The JCC Early Childhood School provides a high-quality, age appropriate curriculum that encourages development, curiosity, imagination, and self-esteem. The school is available for children ages 6 weeks – 5 years old. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Implement curriculum and activities which promote stimulation, learning, and fun. * Assist with activity planning and preparation of materials and supplies for daily use. * Create a warm, fun and nurturing environment. * Maintain a clean and safe classroom. * Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and accreditation standards. * Assist in any classroom in order to be in ratio when needed. * Be highly mobile and physically able to easily engage in activities like standing for long periods, walking, bending, stooping, and sitting.   POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: * Education and Experience * Prior experience in a licensed childcare center or degree in Early Childhood Education a plus. * Maintain First Aid and CPR Certifications; Communicable Disease Training and Child Abuse Training a plus * Attend mandatory professional development sessions, teacher meetings and family events. * Schedule * Monday-Friday * Year-Round
