Primrose School at The Flatirons is a private preschool that mainly serves children whose ages are 6 weeks up through age 6. Our Balanced Learning approach comprises child-initiated play and nurturing guidance from teachers, inspires children to think in more ways: with creativity, compassion and resourcefulness. This time-tested approach instills a love of learning and discovery that helps your child develop and excel for years. The Support Teacher position supports the operational side of the school and is an important part of our community with the goal of ensuring children have a safe and enjoyable lunch and rest period while reporting to the Director. Responsibilities and Duties: Being on time Create a safe and encouraging environment for children Cleaning the classroom Helping the children transition from various activities Provide assistance to children to fall asleep in a calm atmosphere Assist primary teachers with various tasks Changing diapers Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Prior experience working with children a plus Knowledge of safe sleep environments and awareness of Colorado OEC Licensing Rules and Regulations. (Training on these topics will be provided) Timely and reliable Enthusiastic attitude Ability to work together with others Organization skills a must Open-minded Must love kids *daycare, child care, teacher, early childcare, education, teacher aid, infant, baby, students, teacher assistant
