We are looking for somebody working remote from the United Kingdom.

Your main tasks

  • Customer and partner engagement: First point of contact for customers, sales partners and colleagues regarding technical application questions relating to our innovative CAD/CAM products by ensuring effective communication and successful project outcomes.
  • Customer support: Provide expert advice and technical support on topics such as NC programming, effective use of our software technologies, CNC machines, CNC controls and the design of CAD models.
  • Inquiry handling: Manage the execution, evaluation, analysis, and tracking of incoming external and internal inquiries.
  • Technological development: Active involvement in the improvement and further development of hyperMill while collaborating with the technical department of OM UK.

Your profile

  • Completed training as a cutting machine operator, precision mechanic, toolmaker, mechanical engineering technician or comparable training
  • Manufacturing experience in toolmaking and/or mechanical engineering as well as several years of practical experience in NC programming using a CAD/CAM system. hyperMILL experience is an advantage, but not essential
  • Computer skills: Proficiency in utilizing MS Office 365 tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, with preference given to experience with Salesforce.
  • Customer-orientated thinking and acting as well as strong communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Organizational skills and a good dose of resilience to manage and prioritize multiple support requests.
  • Goal-oriented mindset: Display a focus-oriented approach, thriving in a challenging goal-driven environment.
