ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• A technical diploma with mechanical or electrical background
• Documented experience in electromechanical assembly operations (mechanism assembly and cabling of complex mechatronic devices)
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Familiarity with the main IT software packages, including Word and Excel
• A cooperative approach with the stakeholders
• Accuracy and good analytical skills

You will be working in a multi-disciplinary group, where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to support IIT research activity.
The Rehab Technologies INAIL-IIT Research Unit develops novel robotics an AI technologies for healthcare and is coordinated by Matteo Laffranchi.

Within the team, your main responsibilities will be:

• Electromechanical assembly and integration of robotic devices, with tests to verify functionality and reliability.
• Mechanical machining of components for robotic prototypes (manual lathe, milling machine, manual tools)
• Soldering/cabling/manual operations on electrical macro and micro components
• Use/Setting/Maintenance of 3D printers
• Work together with the other technicians and members of the team, inside IIT and during business trips.
• Maintenance of the Rehab workshop good status.
• Purchasing operations, according to IIT procedure, for the needed workshop tools.
