Description

Your Role

The people living at 46 The Grove enjoy the responsibility of providing input into in their weekly activity lists. People are always up for a party and music; whether it’s for a birthday, a holiday or just because they can! Concerts, art galleries, or taking trips to the beach and arcades are some of the favourite activities. Creativity is a huge part of a life at The Grove, with arts and crafts, lessons, and some people even taking part in local exhibitions with the artwork they’ve created! No two days are the same, as a Support Worker, you’ll:

  • Support people with everyday life, including personal care where required, while promoting choice, dignity and independence.
  • Help people enjoy activities, hobbies and opportunities within their local community.
  • Build positive relationships and communicate in ways that meet each person’s individual needs.
  • Encourage people to achieve their goals, develop new skills and enjoy meaningful experiences.
  • Help keep people safe by following support plans, risk assessments and agreed ways of working.
  • Work as part of a supportive team to provide high-quality, person-centred support.
  • Shifts: Rotational including early, late and weekend, 37.5 hours per week.
  • If you share our values and want a career where you can genuinely make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
