Job Title: Support Worker
Required: Full time (42hrs per week) and part-time posts.
Employment status: Permanent contract

PAY RATES: £12.60 - £13.00 PER HOUR PENDING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

ABOUT US:

We are Fairpark Care, a health and social care provider, offering a range of care and support services to individuals with a Learning Disability and other Neurodevelopmental Disorders, including Autism.
We are seeking to recruit talented individuals to the role of Support Worker; people with the right values, skills and behaviours to work in our residential care home at 59 Beechley Road, supporting adults with Autism in Wrexham, North Wales.

Responsibilities

Previous experience or qualification is not essential, we are happy to work with you to help you become an excellent support worker and give you the skills and experiences to have a rewarding career in care. Full training and personal development plans will be provided.

The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team you will help individuals to meet their daily needs and wishes in line with their short- and long-term needs and aspirations.
General duties include support with social care needs, including a wide range of leisure and recreational activities as well as supporting individuals with their personal health and wellbeing.
Using a range of person centred approaches, active support and positive behavioural support, staff will be trained and encouraged to make a meaningful difference to the quality of life for those in our care.
