Eden House is looking to recruit a Bank support worker to join the team.
Residential Addiction’s care – helping our clients to rediscover life beyond addiction. Eden House is the first service in our brand new Division of Residential Addictions. Branded under “Flourish”, Eden House will be the first Priory therapy-led residential programme for people seeking meaningful, sustainable recovery from addiction and related behaviours.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our service users wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Bank Support Worker, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of service users.

  • Provide emotional and practical support to individuals recovering from addiction in a residential setting.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Facilitate and encourage participation in therapeutic programs, group sessions, and relapse prevention activities.
  • Monitor client progress and report any concerns or changes in behavior to clinical staff.
  • Promote a safe, supportive, and respectful environment that fosters recovery and personal growth.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

Candidates should have prior experience working in a healthcare, social care, or addiction support setting, ideally with individuals facing substance misuse challenges. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work empathetically and maintain professional boundaries. Relevant qualifications in health and social care or addiction support are preferred but not always mandatory. Candidates must be reliable, able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and have a genuine commitment to supporting clients through their recovery journey.
