At Bev Morrisey Service, we’re excited to offer a range of new positions within our team. Located in the heart of Somerfield on the vibrant Hōhepa Campus, our service is designed for dual support, ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment.
In this role, you’ll work alongside another Support Worker to provide care and support to six individuals who are in their 50s.
You will be energetic, empathetic and able to work alongside this person focussing on creating a life of rich and diverse experiences while being able to read situations, problem solve and apply boundaries or offer space. Daily tasks include supporting with daily routines while encouraging independence to develop skills and personal growth. You will have the confidence to support personal cares, cooking, medication administration, and household tasks. You will be passionate about supporting and extending people’s ability to access and be part of their wider community. If you are looking for a new challenge this could be the opportunity for you.
This position’s salary scale is set by pay equity and dependant on qualification level, pays between $23.15 and $28.25 per hour.
Nga haora kua tohua | Rostered hours:
Position 1: Sunday and Monday / 7am to 3pm / 32 hours per fortnight
Position 2: Sunday and Monday / 3pm to 11pm / 32 hours per fortnight
Position 3: Sunday to Tuesday / 3pm to 9pm / 36 hours per fortnight
