About the role
As a Support Worker - catering, your role will be to assist a diverse range of Aged Care Residents by assisting the cook meet their nutritional needs.
Located in Waratah, close to train and bus transport.
Newcastle is a thriving town with some of the worlds best beaches close by.
St Martin De Porres provides care and services to 41 Older people
Key Responsibilities
General kitchen hand duties apply
Support the cook with meal service
ensuring a clean environment and work space
About you
Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet
