Duration: Part Time and Full Time Hours available. This is shift work which range from 4-15 hour shifts which are flexible and can work around your needs.
We are seeking motivated and reliable Support Workers to work with Morecare Support Services Ltd. We are one of the top care agencies in Hampshire and provide the highest quality care possible for the people we support. We supply to a variety of services throughout Hampshire.
We are looking for experience support workers in challenging behaviour previous roles. At least 1 year experience in this role. Great rates of pay available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

CARE ASSISTANT/ SUPPORT WORKER ROLE: BASINGSTOKE

Salary: from £12.21 to £17.00 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

CARE WORKER / SUPPORT WORKER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Providing the highest standard of care at all times, supporting people with all aspects of personal care where required, promoting as much independence as possible. Personal care may include washing / bathing, dressing, supporting to use toilet.
  • Helping people to shop for items they wish to buy including their clothes, personal items and food, this may include completing shopping lists and menu planning. Also supporting to prepare meals as required.
  • Supporting people with activities they enjoy, including shopping, activity centres, cinema, crafts, walks, swimming.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to people.
  • Understanding and addressing individual needs in terms of age, gender, race, sexuality and disability, and meeting specific cultural and religious needs.
