REQUIREMENTS:

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts.
• Experience in a care or support setting (desirable but not always required).
• Basic understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and health & safety practices.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care) are advantageous.
• A clear DBS check (or equivalent) is required.

• Support clients with day-to-day tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication, and housekeeping.
• Encourage and assist clients in developing life skills and achieving independence.
• Build positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Assist clients in accessing community services, appointments, and recreational activities.
• Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment at all times.
• Follow individual care plans and contribute to their development and review.
• Monitor and report on the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of clients.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with organisational and legal requirements.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team and attend training and supervision sessions as required.
