THE CANDIDATE:

We are seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist a client with dementia and vision impairment. The role includes personal care, companionship, meal preparation, and domestic assistance. The client also experiences hallucinations, so following the care plan to provide calm and reassurance is essential.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about enhancing the lives of others, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be organised, punctual, friendly, reliable and genuinely caring towards clients.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • National Police Clearance Certificate
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
  • Smartphone
  • Availability for overnight shifts during the week and weekends
  • Experienced in disability support
  • Manual handling
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:
