WHERE YOU’LL DO IT
Our home is an Embrace Home with a staff team who are trained in attachment and trauma, challenging behaviour, and children who go missing. We are committed to providing the best possible care and education packages for young people. The home is registered by Ofsted with a ‘GOOD’ rating to provide residential care to young people aged 7-18 years of any gender and with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties and offer medium- and long-term therapeutic placements. As part of the ‘Embrace’ service we have a holistic, collaborative approach to further support the young people with care for with Education, their self esteem and confidence as well as having Clinical input.
Our young person is a likeable soul who is a delight to care for. They are really engaging and have a willingness to have a go at new challenges. They have a caring nature themselves and have demonstrated their ability to think of others. We complete a range of activities and management also ensure they are present and set aside time in the home to spend with the young person too, creating a homely environment for all.
We have amazing teams who are very caring of one another and ensure everyone is happy and supported within their role. We have recognition awards in house, support each others calendar celebrations and have regular team building exercises (some in which our young person also attends) to create a happy, fun and supportive environment. We have a range of experience and skills and champion one another strengths and development areas to help be our best selves.
