WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Residential Support Worker you will support young people with their daily routines; Getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities.
Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.
Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects.
Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.

WHERE YOU’LL DO IT

Our home is a complex care home, we can accommodate 2 young people of either gender for 8-18-year-old on a planned or emergency basis at any one time. The home is a large Victorian styled building, that is decorated to a nice homely feel. We are located in a residential area in Widnes, Cheshire; the home is situated in a residential area close to Widnes Town Centre. The home has good transport links with easy access to local train stations and bus services. We are twenty minutes away from Liverpool and 30 minutes from Manchester meaning cities are easily accessible. We have a bubbly outgoing team with lots of experience, and all aim to provide our young people with the best possible care and support to achieve their personal best.
We currently have two female young people living in the home, one who is aged 14, she is very outgoing and is confident in expressing her thoughts and views, she loves playing Roblox, and listening to music. Out other young person is aged 15 years, she loves dancing, singing and making tiktok dances, she loves to do her hair and makeup, taking pride in her appearance. Both girls are able to communicate effectively and enjoy having a laugh with the staff team.
Our team are very outgoing and bubbly, they all have their own individual strengths that are used to support our young people at different times. We have good effective communication, and are very supportive of both each other and the young people within our care.
