JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including senior care facilities, nursing homes, and assisted living environments. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those with disabilities, dementia, or other health challenges. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in promoting independence and dignity for our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in senior care, home care, or assisted living is preferred.
  • Knowledge of dementia care and working with persons with disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to perform caregiving tasks with patience and empathy.
  • Basic knowledge of medication administration protocols.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting client privacy.
  • Certification in first aid or CPR is a plus but not required.
