Sevello Children’s Homes are recruiting Support Workers for their exciting new home, New Haven, opening near Sudbury.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a brand-new team and support up to 4 children aged 5–12, many of whom will have a diagnosis such as Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), ADHD, or Autism. THE ROLE

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and stable home environment, helping children to develop life skills, build confidence, and work towards a brighter future.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support up to 4 children with daily routines, education, and activities
• Encourage independence and help develop essential life skills
• Build positive relationships and act as a role model
• Work as part of a team to create a safe, supportive environment
• Follow care plans and safeguarding procedures to maintain the highest standards of care
• Provide consistent emotional support to children with EBD, ADHD, Autism, or similar needs

The successful candidate will be required to provide references and undertake an enhanced DBS check. You’ll also be asked to complete a criminal self-declaration form, and we’ll conduct online searches for publicly available information.
