You’ll provide person-centred support, enabling service users to develop skills, build confidence, and take part in their home and wider community life. This role ensures clients continue receiving high-quality care, companionship, and daily support while their regular caregiver takes time to rest, recharge, or attend to personal matters. Key Responsibilities: Personal Care: Assisting with washing, bathing, showering, grooming, dressing, and toileting/continence care. Household Tasks: Supporting with meal preparation, light cleaning, laundry, ironing, and changing bed linen. Medication Support: Assisting with reminders, administration, and recording intake as per the care plan. Companionship & Social Interaction: Providing conversation, reassurance, and accompanying clients on walks, appointments, or social activities. Mobility & Exercise: Assisting with transfers and the use of mobility aids. Record-Keeping: Completing care logs and communicating with families and healthcare professionals.
