This is position is available at full time or part time hours, fixed term until 30 June 2031, with a possibility of extension.

Provide flexible, person led individual and group mental health support that builds confidence, practical skills and independence. Work with families, services and community supports to deliver coordinated, culturally respectful care, helping people work toward their recovery goals at their own pace.

Skills & Experience

  1. Qualifications in Cert IV Mental Health or Cert IV Mental Health Peer Work.
  2. Demonstrated commitment to working from a recovery orientation, in line with the National Framework for Recovery Oriented Mental Health Services
  3. Lived experience of distress/mental health challenges and recovery (or with the perspective of supporting a family/friend/kin).
  4. Demonstrated capacity to engage with and mentor people to work towards their recovery goals in a structured and planned way
  5. Demonstrated capacity to engage with and mentor people living with mental health challenges to work towards their recovery goals in a structured and planned way
