The Opportunity:

Come and join our team! We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker located in Box Hill South and Ivanhoe. You will be responsible for support a customer with daily living tasks, supporting them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centred around the following:

  • Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
  • Providing support with hygiene and personal care
  • Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
  • Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
  • Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
  • Assistance with Hydrotherapy
  • Assistance with slide transfers

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support
  • At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
  • Drivers License, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
  • NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
