Support Worker

We are looking for a positive, pro-active and engaging team player, who can work in a creative and flexible way, taking initiative but working professionally and using sound common sense, advocating for the young man requiring support
This Young Man is keen to develop his life skills and would like support to engage in satisfying and meaningful contributions in his local community, in a positive way
The support workers role will be to support him to build on the skills he already has and develop his independence both in his home and community.
As a support worker you will be required to be a clear and concise communicator and be Committed to a Culture of Valued Roles.
A belief in enabling growth and independence.
Full clean Drivers licence a plus though mostly traveling on Public transport together
Energetic with experience as a community connector in the North Wicklow area.
Part time flexible hours (10 hours per week)
Induction, Mentoring and Coaching from Support Coordinator will be provided.
