SUPPORT WORKER

As part of our growing community team, based in hubs across Bolton, we are looking to recruit a Life Opportunities Support Worker who will deliver high quality, compassionate care and support. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Must have experience supporting adults within a social care setting.
  • Ability to develop supportive relationships, promoting independence and wellbeing.
  • Ability to use a computer and be IT literate.
  • You will be highly motivated to deliver outstanding care and support.
  • Understand that communication is varied and comes in many forms.
  • Have the ability to work in a person-centred way.
Responsibilities

Working from a hub model we operate as a priority in making sure that we are connecting people with others, meeting new people, targeting isolation and accessing a range of social activities and achieving outcomes. This particular role would suit a person who enjoys celebrating and engaging the skills of older adults. A flexible approach in your pattern of supporting people will ensure we meet the needs of the people we support.
