Experience in support work or a related care role, with practical understanding of the responsibilities of Support Workers.
Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities to build trust and rapport with clients, families, and colleagues.
Knowledge of safeguarding principles and safe practice, including recognising and reporting risks or concerns.
Basic technical support and digital literacy skills to use client management systems, online communication tools, and documentation platforms.
Relevant qualification or training in community services, disability support, social care, or a similar field (or equivalent experience).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing client needs.
Commitment to person-centred support, confidentiality, and inclusive, non-discriminatory practice.
