This means you will not be employed by Action on Disability, but directly by the individual themselves or by a representative who is acting on their behalf.

ABOUT CLAIRE:

I like going out to eat and head to the cinema and theatre. I am interested in the arts and I like to do some acting in my spare time.
Sometimes I go to the day centre and I believe family is really important to me and keep in close contact with my sister.

Michael Jackson is an icon of mine and I love dancing to Thriller. When I unwind down, I like to do m nails and pamper myself to a spa day. Mindfulness is really important and I am looking for quality, friendly conversations with someone I can engage with.

She is looking for someone with good timekeeping, a great sense of humour, trustworthy and be active and bubbly!
Claire likes to eat and is quite fond in Caribbean food. She would like support cooking with someone who also shares the same cultural background. Claire loves to go out and about to meals, cinema and the theatre and is looking for great company that can support her out in the community. Claire would also like assistance organizing her admin but most importantly someone to provide 1:1 emotional support.
Sometimes she will need support in making sure her home is safe and accessible, for example, contacting local services to come in and repair and being on site to make sure everything is okay.
Claire is thinking of having a new pet cat and would like support on how she can adapt to having a new family member living in the house!
