Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Advance Social Care is looking for compassionate and motivated Support Workers to join our growing team. You’ll work with young people aged 16+, including those leaving care and Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC), providing support in semi-supported/group living homes.
We’re passionate about supporting vulnerable young people to transition into independence and adulthood with dignity, skills, and confidence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily support with life skills (budgeting, cooking, tenancy, etc.)
  • Promote independence while ensuring safeguarding and wellbeing
  • Encourage involvement in education, training, or employment
  • Transport and accompany young people to appointments and reviews
  • Complete accurate case notes, risk assessments, and support plans
  • Manage household routines and group living responsibilities
