At Disability and Home Support Services Wexford we believe each service user is at the forefront of what we do. Our aim is to work in partnership with service users and their families to achieve positive meaningful change and to assist them to reach their full potential, whatever that may be. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals with disabilities to be active and valued members of their community.

These services generally fall under seven categories:

• Socialisation
• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADL)
• ASD Specific Service
• Transport Services
• Social Activities
• Home Support
• Agency Based Support

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 2 QQI Level 5 modules in Health Care Support / Intellectual Disability Studies / Social Care or equivalent.
• Ability to work weekdays and/or weekends.
• Flexible, adaptable, trustworthy, kind and committed
• Previous experience in healthcare.
• Full driving license

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €14.50-€21.75 per hour
