SUPPORT WORKER – GLENARBON, QLD (URGENT START)

Location: Glenarbon, QLD (Travel is essential for applicants located outside the Glenarbon area - mileage incentive provided)

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Blue Card – Paid Employee (Working with Children Check)
• Current First Aid & CPR (HLTAID011 or equivalent)
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
• Reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
• COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (minimum 2 doses)
• Certificate III/IV in Disability, Individual Support, or Community Services
• Experience in rural or remote support work
• Knowledge of person-centred and trauma-informed practice

Compass Connect Support Services is urgently seeking a qualified and compassionate Support Worker to assist an NDIS participant in Glenarbon, QLD.
This is a long-term, structured role with consistent weekly shifts (Monday–Thursday, 28 hours per week). You will provide personal care, daily living support, and community access while ensuring a person-centred, respectful, and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care and assist with daily living activities
• Facilitate community access and recreational participation
• Encourage independence while maintaining wellbeing and safety
• Support structured routines and provide companionship
• Complete accurate progress notes, incident reports, and documentation
• Comply with NDIS Practice Standards, Code of Conduct, and QLD legislation
