Supporting people with learning disabilities, challenging behaviours and/ or complex needs, associated diagnoses such as autism, mental health conditions, epilepsy, diabetes and other conditions.

SUMMARY

We are currently recruiting for experience support workers to join our Pottery House service based in Stoke -on -Trent. You will be providing 1-2-1 support to residents with challenging behaviour and learning disabilities.
Each day will be different and rewarding supporting residents with daily challenges, helping them to new life skills and independence.

REQUIREMENTS

  • This post is open to female applicants only as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010
  • Experience of working within health and social care environment
  • Caring and highly motivated to deliver outstanding care and support
  • Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to residents needs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to use a computer - basic IT skills.
