ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Support Worker to join the care team for a female participant living with her elderly parents. The participant requires high-level personal care due to an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). This role is ideal for someone with a nursing background or extensive experience in high care environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver high personal care support including PEG feeding (with family assistance if needed).
• Assist with safe hoist transfers (training provided by current team).
• Maintain awareness of pressure area care and assist with repositioning.
• Support general domestic tasks (secondary to personal care).
• Communicate clearly and consistently regarding availability to support continuity of care.
